Kirstenbosch Gardens, Cape Town

I had the pleasure of spending a rather lush afternoon in Cape Town’s botanical gardens. This place is like a garden of eden nestled at the foot of these majestic mountains. We walked around and had a kip in the grass (kip [nap] one of my several South African colloquialisms I picked up along with robots [traffic lights], braai [barbecue] and bakkie [truck]). If I lived in Cape Town I would picnic here all the time…
