I had the pleasure of spending a rather lush afternoon in Cape Town’s botanical gardens. This place is like a garden of eden nestled at the foot of these majestic mountains. We walked around and had a kip in the grass (kip [nap] one of my several South African colloquialisms I picked up along with robots [traffic lights], braai [barbecue] and bakkie [truck]). If I lived in Cape Town I would picnic here all the time…
It’s majestic!! We say’kip’ here in the UK too. It’s fun learning the other words though 🙂 What a special place..was great to see it!! Have a wonderful week 🙂 xx
