Such Great Heights

Business trips always happen last minute for me. Before I know it I’m on a plane mid-week to catch meetings, meet new colleagues, and more. This time it was New York City, where I seem to end up every summer somehow. Lucky me it was anything but strictly business this time, as I stayed the weekend to catch up with friends. One friend became five, six, seven when somehow the forces of the universe all aligned and sent some of my favorite people my way, some I hadn’t seen in months and others in years all crossing paths in what really does seem to be the center of the world, Manhattan. A heat wave couldn’t stop us from enjoying our serendipitous weekend, spending our time down below in Central Park and high up in the sky in mid-town cloud lounges and downtown lofts. In every way a surprise of a trip, and exactly as amazing as I would expect a weekend with old friends to be.
