Brooklyn that is! I guess I used to be a West Village gal but ever since my big sister moved to Brooklyn it seems the only place I really feel at home in NYC. You can leave downtown to the bridge and tunnel and uptown to the gossip girls because Brooklyn has my heart. I love this more casual, calm, and dare I say authentic New York borough now and thus was more than happy to spend almost my entire visit as a Brooklyn babe. A couple of you asked me to post my favorite spots in Brooklyn and I am more than happy to oblige! Of course I wouldn’t have discovered them without the help of my sister’s and friend’s suggestions! For breakfast or lunch head to Bakeri or Egg. For shopping new check out Bird and for vintage Beacon’s Closet. For dinner eat your heart out at Fette Sau and Five Leaves, and then for drinks and a party stop into Enid’s or Night of Joy. New York, I love you! I’ll be back soon but for now I am home in Paris, which I will be blogging about again soon. So excited for la rentrée…this year is going to be epic…just wait and see! Until next time be sure to follow the facebook fan page, twitter, and tumblr for updates! Kisses!

Williamsburg, Brooklyn, NY, United States
Great post, I love Brooklyn as well and like to spend time there! It’s much more relaxed than Manhattan and I’d love to live there if I was settling in New York. As usual your photos are phenomenal, my favorite of the bunch is the stacked cookies – looks so delicious!

Love the New York posts! Although I live in the West Village, I work in Williamsburg, Brooklyn – it definitely has a lot of character. Love Bakeri 🙂

Brooklyn looks fun but I don’t think I’d be hip enough for it!
I just discovered your fine blog and I will happily follow it. Fantastic photos with a nice appeal. 🙂
Yes yes I love Enid’s. Great photos of Brooklyn! I miss it already. And Rosemary’s is indeed delicious!
Aw, so glad to hear you are an appreciator of Brooklyn (since that’s where I grew up and where my heart is to this day). And I used to depend on Beacon’s Closet for years for cute clothes when I had my first job out of college and worked not far from the store.
